Bill Squire & John Armstrong
Join Canton Comedy Boom on Saturday May 3rd for a night of hilarious stand-up comedy with Jo Rou, John Armstrong, and Bill Squire!
In 2004, at the age twenty-two, Bill Squire was just your regular old excommunicated Mormon missionary trying to find his way through life. Returning from a two-year-long Mormon mission in the Philippines, Bill found his voice on stage traveling the country telling jokes as he relentlessly pursued stage time.
Bill has several comedy specials and albums that have been viewed and listened to millions of times. He has been seen on Comedy Central, he was a regular cast member on the cult favorite YouTube series, Man in the Box, starring opposite Cleveland comedy legend and Red Lobster regular, Mike Polk Jr. He has also appeared on tv shows like Laughs on Fox and Hulu.
Family is a priority for Bill, although his time on the road means a lot to him, from 2013 to 2024 Bill co-hosted The Alan Cox Show, an afternoon talk show on 100.7 WMMS in Cleveland. He has become part of a larger family of millions of devoted listeners/viewers on iHeartRadio, SiriusXM, Pandora, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Stitcher. He also co-hosts his wildly popular podcast Cleveland America with friends Tommi LC and OkPants.
Joining Bill on stage, we have two of the hardest working and creative comedians from Cleveland, John Armstrong, and Jo Rou.

Marcus Monroe is an award-winning comedian based in New York City. He has headlined comedy clubs across the country and is a regular at the famous Comedy Cellar in New York City. Join Canton Comedy Boom on Saturday April 12th for a night of hilarious stand-up comedy with some of Northeast Ohio’s funniest comedians!
Patrick Madison is a touring comedian and founder of The Double Chuckle Comedy Tour. He’s one of the hardest working stand-up acts, and he’s bringing some of his most hilarious friends to Canton for one night only! Featuring Dan McGinnis, KC Curry, and Kyle Stead.
Pat has been one of CCB’s favorite up-and-coming comics since the day we met him. His act is quirky and clever, and his delivery reveals an admirable vulnerability beneath the surface of hilarious takes on some of life’s most embarrassing truths. His work at Funny Farm gave him the chance to be mentored by national acts like Jim Florentine and Kevin Farley. Pat founded The Double Chuckle Comedy Tour, which has toured nationally with over 120 shows in 2024. From dive bar basements where he first began working on his act in 2015, to taking the stage at clubs like Hilarities, Funny Stop, and Funny Farm today, Pat’s ability to keep the whole room laughing has been proven many times over.

About the Instructor:
Marissa Leonino Lange has been performing and teaching improv for over 20 years. She trained at the iO Theater in Chicago and has participated in festivals and workshops including Chicago Improv Festival and Funny Women Festival. Marissa has performed with Uncle Elaine in Chicago, Washington Improv Theater in Washington, D.C., Imposters Theater in Cleveland, and Just Go With It in Akron. While studying at Oberlin College and Conservatory, Marissa was director of Sunshine Scouts and co-founder of the Oberlin College Improv Conference, the largest annual comedy event on campus. Marissa has also auditioned for television and film in Los Angeles.

Autumn Carper is a member of the Females of Comedy, an up-and-coming favorite of Canton Comedy Boom’s, and a regular on stages all over Northeast Ohio. Her comedy reflects her rich experience as a teacher and “cool aunt”, and her dark sense of humor and blunt observations have lit up clubs with laughter from here to Las Vegas. In addition to her stellar stand-up performances, Autumn has produced and booked her own comedy shows, and has amassed a large following on TikTok where she shares her comedic take on teaching.
Tim Wolfe has won numerous comedy competitions, he’s a headlining comic on The Brewery Comedy Tour, and “a staple at comedy clubs within a 50 mile radius of his mom’s house.” Most recently, Tim won the Best Long Joke Award at the 2024 Cleveland Comedy Awards for his material about his father.
He is a fantastic storyteller and an exceptional observationist with a dark, but charmingly honest style of comedy. Tim brings a wealth of material and experience to the stage with a wry and dry delivery that keeps the laughs going through the whole show.

The Females of Comedy reunite to bring you the third annual Galentine’s Day: A Comedy Showcase!
Whether you’re single, coupled up or throupled up this Valentine’s Day, laughter is a universal love language, and these hilarious comedians can’t wait to show some love.
The Females of Comedy are a Northeast Ohio-based stand-up troupe of comedians formed in 2022 out of Canton Comedy Boom. They bring together a diverse array of talent with an age span of thirty years and a wealth of humorous anecdotes about life, love, work, and family.
These charming ladies have filled clubs with raucous laughter with their diverse perspectives and hilarious, heartfelt stories. From work and travel to poignant and ironic moments in motherhood and post-divorce dating, the Females of Comedy illuminate the tragicomedy of life through a distinctly female lens!
Lineup includes: Autumn Carper, KC Curry, Amanda Elam, Sara Short, Amy Wyler, Kelly Thewlis, and in her first appearance with the Females of Comedy, Precious.
