Join Canton Comedy Boom at Patina Arts Centre on Saturday, January 25th for our Comedy Variety Show, an exciting mash up of stand-up, sketch, and improv comedy!
This high-energy show has something for everyone: sketch comedy written by Canton Comedy Boom and a performance by the Brain Farts Royale improv troupe bring hilarious situational humor and character comedy to the stage. The show will also feature a new episode of The News Room, where we poke fun at the news and offer playful commentary on current events! And headlining stand-up comedian, Elliot Jarrous.
Elliot is a Palestinian-American stand-up comedian and essayist from Cleveland. With his love of making the most out of the mundane, as well as his conscientious perspectives on race, class, love, and masculinity; Elliot has quickly been making a name for himself in the comedy world, opening for notable headliners like Jermaine Fowler, Kiry Shabazz, Bill Squire, and Tarek Muhammad.
When he’s not performing you can find Elliot scouring eBay for vintage Levis 505’s and mid-century Egyptian movie posters, but he’d much rather see you in the crowd!
As always, the Patina art gallery and studios will be open for viewing and we encourage you to check out our downtown Canton page for a list of bars, restaurants, and shops within walking distance of the show
